Dynamic Load Management (DLM)/Dynamic Load Balance (DLB), power divider for Duosida electric car wall charger

Nowadays, there are several different names for it when you look around the online marketplace. These can be dynamic power splitter, dynamic power management, smart (electricity) meter, dynamic load sharing or smart power splitter. In terms of function, they all do the same thing, whatever you call them. With this device, the Duosida electric car wall charger becomes capable of constant and dynamic control and management of charging power. This means that the device measures/monitors in real time the total energy consumption (power consumption per phase) of the property (house, apartment, garage, holiday home, etc.) and automatically limits (increases or decreases) the charging power of the electric car based on this. This way, there is no need to worry about the charger blowing a fuse (tripping the circuit breaker).
It is advisable to install it in places where the amount of electricity available for the electrical consumers in the property (e.g. oven, heating, jacuzzi, sauna) and for charging the car at the same time is limited. It allows the car to be charged at the maximum available power at all times.

Compatibility

The dynamic load management device is compatible with all Duosida electric car wall chargers with wifi. It handles single and three phase systems. It can also be connected to the grid afterwards. That means if you already have a Duosida brand electric car wall charger and want to switch from static to dynamic load management, you can do it with this tool.

Installation
The electricity metering device should be installed in the main distribution board so that it can measure the current consumption of all the consumers in the house. Using the DS Charge app, you can assign one or more chargers and the current meter to a charging farm and then specify the available current (e.g. 25 A).

The connection between the charger and the smart meter is established via Wi-Fi. The smart meter measures the current per phase and sends it to the cloud. The wall charger knows the current consumption of the property from the cloud and calculates the available free capacity, which it "tells" the car.

With a solar system, up to 100% of the energy generated is used to charge the car.
