Question: Why is wifi connection useful? ,If I undertsood well, I can adjust the charging power but does this funtion knows more?
Answer: Beyond the current limit, we can also program when to limit the car's charging. Specifically, during peak hours when the building/household is consuming electricity, it is necessary/advisable to reduce the amount of power allocated for charging. Otherwise, the circuit breaker may trip.
IMPORTANT! When selecting the appropriate Wi-Fi network (SSID) from the available list in the mobile application, ensure not to connect the device to itself. The Wi-Fi version also enables the possibility for the charger to be accessed remotely from anywhere.

Question: What can I use the RFID magnetic card for?
Answer: The RFID card is useful for managing the use of the charger. Let’s assume multiple people have access to the charger and might charge their vehicles at our expense, but we don’t want that. With an RFID card, only those who possess the appropriate card can start charging. In the Wi-Fi version, this restriction can be disabled using the mobile app, allowing charging to begin immediately upon connecting the car.

The mobile app also offers various additional features, such as setting a maximum kWh limit for each RFID card. Once this limit is used up, the card needs to be recharged, similar to topping up a prepaid mobile phone. For example, if we have 100 kWh on the card, we can fully charge a 40 kWh battery pack 2.5 times. After that, we would need to visit the person managing the charger to purchase additional credits. Note that an NFC-enabled phone is required to top up the RFID card with credits.

With a dynamic power management device, available as an optional accessory, the Duosida electric vehicle wall charger can handle constant and dynamic control of charging power. This means the device measures and monitors the property’s total energy usage in real-time (phase-by-phase current consumption) and automatically adjusts the EV charging power (increasing or decreasing) based on the data.
